EFAS Scientific and Educational Committees are calling all EFAS members to join their teams.

EFAS Educational Committee

Mission of the Committee: EFAS Educational Committee shapes and organises the educational content of the EFAS Instructional Courses.

Chairman: Dr. Jean-Luc Besse, AFCP (France)

1 vacancy

The Committee is looking for an experienced foot and ankle surgeon with a specifically traumatological profile to complete the 7-member Educational Committee team. Applicants must be fully-paying members of EFAS, be able to demonstrate extensive experience in foot and ankle surgery and traumatology, showcase active involvement in EFAS courses and events in the past years. During application, candidates are asked to provide short biography and a motivation statement.

  

EFAS Scientific Committee

Mission of the Committee: Organises the scientific content of the following EFAS Events: EFAS International Congress (Bi-Annual Congress); EFAS Advanced Symposia (held the year where there is no congress); EFAS Specialty Day/Sessions at EFORT Congress

Chairman: Dr. Dishan Singh, BOFAS (UK)

6 vacancies

The Committee is looking for 6 experienced foot and ankle surgeons to complete a 12-member team, several members of which will retire from their positions due to tenure termination. Applicants must be fully-paying members of EFAS or affiliated society, be able to demonstrate extensive experience in foot and ankle surgery and science, showcase active involvement in EFAS courses and events in the past years and namely:

  1. Attendance of at least 2 meetings of EFAS in the last 5 years (EFAS Congresses, Symposia or courses)
  2. Publication of at least 2 articles in peer-reviewed journals published in English in the last 4 years.

During application, candidates are also asked to provide short biography and a motivation statement.
