These are difficult times we are living in. EFAS is following the advice from the different European Governments, the World Health Organization and the Scientific Community. For the safety of and wellbeing of our members and staff, we decided already to postpone the interesting meeting in Paris on April 2-3, 2020. We will share information on future dates soon. Registered attendees will receive more information via email, and we will update EFAS website with information once it becomes available. Our secretary staff is helping is on these difficult times and supporting us working from their homes. In the meantime, you can address them at the usual e-mail:email@example.com (for any society-related matters) firstname.lastname@example.org (for any questions related to EFAS events). They will be more than happy to help you.
The epidemy is spreading and more and more countries are taking drastic measures to protect the population and to guarantee the continuation of their national health system. We, as surgeons, will be asked to contribute in this time of crisis, and I’m sure that our community can perform its duties.
I’m sending a special thought and moral support from our Society to all our members already taking care of patients in their hospitals, especially in Italy and Spain, but all over the foot and ankle society world.
I hope you and your family are doing well,
